
An Endeavor Air Mitsubishi CRJ-900 operating Delta Air Lines flight DL4819 from Minneapolis to Toronto Pearson Airport has crashed during a landing attempt at Pearson. Emergency services report that at least 15 of the 80 people on board were injured in the accident, three of them are in critical condition.
Videos posted online show large plumes of black smoke and the aircraft having come to a stop upside down near the runway. Additional pictures show that the aircraft’s left wing has been ripped off.
According to a statement by Toronto Pearson Airport, all passengers and crew members have been accounted for.
