Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier Flynas has placed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Airbus for the purchase of 75 additional A320neo aircraft and 15 A330-900.
The airline operates an all-Airbus fleet of 13 A320ceo, four A330-300 and has ordered 120 A320neo, of which 52 have been delivered. Flynas also has an order for ten A321XLR, which are yet to be built, following the type’s EASA certification on 19th July.
Given this new order is yet to be firmed up, no potential delivery dates for the new aircraft have been stated. That being said, in the case of the A320neo, deliveries can likely be expected through to well beyond 2030, given the massive international order backlog for the top-selling aircraft family.
