Aircraft lessor, Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has ordered an additional two Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, adding to its portfolio of ~900 aircraft, which already includes the Boeing 787-9 and 787-10. ALC leases airliners and freighters to more than 118 customer airlines, which operate from more than 63 countries worldwide.
The lessor first ordered the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner in 2010, with today’s order bringing the total number of the type ordered to 27. It has also historically ordered 25 of the largest Dreamliner variant, the 787-10.
