Air Senegal signs agreement for eight Airbus A220

Air Senegal and Airbus have announced that the African carrier signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purchase of eight Airbus A220-300 aircraft. The MoU was presented during the Dubai Airshow 2019.

Air Senegal is based at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Dakar and commenced operations in May 2018 as the country’s new national airline. Its current fleet consists of two Airbus A319 airplanes and two ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft. Furthermore, the airline took delivery of its first of two Airbus A330neo aircraft in March.
