The German leisure carrier announced on Wednesday that operations have to be ceased with immediate effect.

Due to insufficient business figures, Azur Air Germany had already transferred its Boeing 767s to the Russian and Ukrainian Azur Air sister companies in Summer 2018.

Azur Air Germany was founded in 2016 by the tour operator Anex Tourism Group. The airline operated charter flights to various destinations from its bases in Germany such as Dusseldorf (DUS) or Hanover (HAJ) using Boeing 767-300ER and 737-900ER aircraft.
