EuroAtlantic Airways signs leasing agreement for two Boeing 787-8

Portuguese charter carrier EuroAtlantic Airways has signed an agreement with aircraft lessor AerCap for two Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft. Due for delivery to the Lisbon based airline in 2021, the deal will mark the first Boeing 787s based in Portugal.

Dublin, Ireland based AerCap has a fleet of 1,334 aircraft of all types which it leases out to over 200 airlines worldwide, including for example flag carriers British Airways, Air France, Alitalia, Aeroflot, Korean Air and Swiss.

EuroAtlantic Airways currently operates a fleet of seven aircraft, consisting of five Boeing 767-300ER widebody aircraft, a single Boeing 737-800 and one 777-200ER.
