Guillaume Faury selected to become new Airbus CEO in 2019

Airbus’ board of directors has selected Guillaume Faury as a future Chief Executive Officer for the European multinational company. Faury currently serves as President for Airbus Commercial Aircraft. He will succeed Tom Enders as CEO of Airbus SE.

This decision to make Faury the next Chief Execute will be implemented at Airbus’ Annual General Meeting on April 10, 2019.

The 50 year old Frenchman was CEO of Airbus Helicopters since May 2013 and became President of Airbus Commercial Aircraft in February 2018. Before working in leading positions at Airbus, he served important roles for Peugeot SA and Eurocopter (which is now Airbus Helicopters).
