KLM and Qantas announce codeshare agreement

Qantas and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have announced a new codeshare agreement creating new options for customers traveling between Australia and Europe.

Qantas will add its code on KLM’s daily flights between Singapore and Amsterdam. In addition, it enables Qantas Frequent Flyers to earn frequent flyer points and status credits on these codeshare flights.

In turn, the flag carrier of the Netherlands, KLM will add its code on Qantas international flights between Singapore and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Tickets for the codeshare services will be available from November 1.

The new partnership with KLM adds to Qantas’ expanding codeshare network and follows recently announced codeshare agreements with Cathay Pacific, Air New Zealand and Air France.
Qantas also maintains a codeshare partnership with Emirates on services between Amsterdam and Dubai.
