Dubai-based leasing company Dubai Aerospace Enterprise Capital (DAE Capital) has signed a firm order with Boeing for 15 737 Max 8 aircraft.
An airline customer to lease the ordered airplanes was not immediately announced. This deal with Boeing is not DAE’s first venture with the 737 Max, after a recent deal with American Airlines for the sale and leaseback of 18 Boeing 737 Max 8 the airline has on order from Boeing. The leasing company reached a similar agreement with Brazilian low-cost carrier GOL for a few of its 737 Max aircraft in 2018.
Dubai Aerospace says it owns and manages more than 400 aircraft from aircraft manufacturers Airbus, ATR and Boeing which it is leasing to over 100 different customers around the world.
