Today, on the International Civil Aviation Day, the organizer of the Paris Air Show (PAS) announced its decision to cancel the 2021 event, citing the current health crisis and related uncertainties.

The 54th edition was scheduled for June next year. Dates for PAS 2023 will be announced soon.

Paris Air Show takes place every two years since 1909 and is one of the most important events in the aviation industry. During the last event in 2019, European manufacturer Airbus secured over 350 orders and also launched the new Airbus A321XLR aircraft variant. Over 310,000 visitors from 185 countries came to attend the air show in June of last year.
