Small Planet Airlines Poland has announced that it started the process of restructuring in accordance with Polish law to attract additional financial investment.
“I believe this is an attractive investment opportunity, especially having the restructuring plan in place. We also own valuable slots in Warsaw Chopin airport and highly demanded summer-peak slots at Greek islands, like Zakynthos, Rhodes, Heraklion and other”, Bartosz Czajka, CEO of Small Planet Airlines Poland, said in a statement.
The airline has already reduced the number of aircraft in its fleet.
Although there are also entities in Germany, Lithuania and Cambodia, the different airlines are independent companies. Due to that, operations of the other Small Planet Airlines units are not affected.
In September, Small Planet Airlines Germany entered a restructuring process under German law but continues to operate.
