Ultra low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has announced that it will start to serve Hollywood Burbank Airport this year.
The Florida-based airline already offers flights from nearby Los Angeles International Airport. Starting in June 2019, the airline will add a second airport in the Los Angeles area with three daily nonstop flights between Burbank and Las Vegas.

Hollywood Burbank Airport is located northwest of downtown Burbank, in Los Angeles County, California. Southwest Airlines is currently the largest operator at Burbank’s Bob Hope Airport, which has been named after the comedian Bob Hope in 2003.
