Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras, a Brazilian airline, and Copa Airlines, the flag carrier of Panama, have announced a codeshare agreement on Thursday. This will connect two of the largest route networks in Latin and South America.

Azul serves more than 100 domestic destinations in Brazil, including 52 destinations not served by any other airline. As part of the agreement, Copa Airlines will add its ‘CM’ IATA code on Azul’s domestic flights. In turn, the Brazilian carrier will place its code on Copa’s flights into and out of its Panama City hub, allowing passengers to take advantage of the Copa Airlines’ network.
