Juneyao Airlines has received its first Airbus A320neo aircraft. The Airbus jet was ferried from the Tianjin production site to Shanghai Pudong International Airport on Friday.
The brand new aircraft will be deployed on domestic routes, including to Chongqing, Xi’an, Shenzhen and Guilin from the airline’s hubs at Shanghai Pudong and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
In addition to the new Airbus A320neo, Juneyao Airlines operates Airbus A320ceo and A321 aircraft. In October 2018, the Chinese airline took delivery of its first Boeing 787 Dreamliner jet. Next year, the Shanghai-based carrier will start several new long-haul routes, including flights to Manchester, Dublin, Reykjavik and Athens.
