Greek airline Sky Express has received its very first Airbus A320neo jet and becomes a new Airbus operator.
The new Airbus A320neo is leased from Aviation Capital Group (ACG), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo Century Corporation. Furthermore, a second leased aircraft is scheduled for delivery in December of this year.
Additionally, just about two months ago in mid-October, Sky Express announced a firm order for four Airbus A320neo. The A320neo jets join the carrier’s existing fleet of ATR turboprop aircraft.
According to the current flight schedule, the A320neo will enter service on the route between Athens and Thessaloniki, starting on December 14.
